PALS Online Renewal with WHA
PALS is geared towards healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children and for personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.
PALS RENEWAL COURSE INFORMATION
The AHA PALS Recertification Online course is geared toward healthcare and medical professionals, that want to get it done quick. This course teaches how to respond to someone already in cardiac arrest, that may require more advanced techniques than Basic Life Support "BLS" teaches such as cardiac drug administration, intubation and cardiac rhythm analysis. Students need to be prepared for any PALS Class Online, via purchase and review of the 2020 AHA PALS Provider Textbook or eBook. Students will have access to their textbooks or eBook during testing, so it's to your benefit to purchase them. Students receive a zoom link the day of the class or sooner, the day of the class the instructor will start admitting students during roll call. Once students are admitted to the ACLS Training Online, roughly 15 to 30 minutes before the start time. Instructors will complete attendance, roll call as well as checking to see who has all the required equipment. Students that are not in attendance or having issues will be emailed, texted and called. Students without the required equipment may also take a PALS Skills Session at a later time in order to fulfill the hands-on requirement and to be issued the PALS Provider Course Completion eCard. WHA offers one of the most stress free and expedited classes around, we have yet to see someone fail its such good education.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The Online PALS Provider Course aims to improve outcomes for pediatric patients by preparing healthcare providers to effectively recognize and intervene in patients with respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest by using high‐performance team dynamics and high‐quality individual skills. The course includes a series of case scenario practices with simulations that reinforce important concepts.
The PALS Online Instructor-led course is presented by zoom, making it easy for students to participate from home or work. Students are able to be seen, heard, and corrected via their device of choice. Students are required to participate with their own hands-on equipment purchased from the store, allowing for skills check off during the course and issuance of the official AHA PALS Provider eCard. Alternatively, in lieu of hands-on participation and equipment purchase, students may earn credit for the lecture only then attend an applicable in-person skills session to satisfy the hands-on requirement after the course, for issuance of the official AHA PALS provider eCard.

Students attending the PALS Renewal Online Course must meet the following requirements:

Purchase the WNL Practi-CRM CPR Monitor or attend Skills Session

Refund requests for classroom-based courses must be made 2 Days (48 hours) before your original course start time.
